FTR reportedly won’t be in the first version of AEW Fight Forever, AEW’s upcoming console game.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported the news and noted at, as of now, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler aren’t planned to be part of the game, at least for its first version.
It’s unclear how far into the process the duo were still included in the game, but Sapp noted that he first word about FTR’s omission earlier this summer. He cited sources who stated that FTR at least made it to the “model phase.” Sapp also noted that they were initially set for the game, but they had been removed by this past spring.
As for the former AEW World Tag Team Champions’ reaction, Sapp wrote that they weren’t happy about it because being in video games often comes with a substantial bonus.
It’s important to note that Harwood and Wheeler could potentially be included in upcoming DLC for the game.
