Jeff Jarrett has reportedly departed WWE.
The WWE Hall of Famer returned to the company earlier this year in an executive role, as he was named the Senior Vice President of Live Event Booking.
On August 21, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that Jarrett has departed this past week, though the exact timeline is unclear.
Jarrett started working as a producer with WWE in 2019 and subsequently joined the creative team. He then became an executive on the live events side. He exited the company after the pandemic forced the company to stop travelling and producing live events, but Jarrett returned and took on his new role in May.
In recent months, Jarrett has also appeared multiple times on WWE TV. Most notably, he was the special guest referee for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between The Usos and The Street Profits at WWE SummerSlam. Outside of WWE, he returned to the ring at Ric Flair’s Last Match and teamed up with Jay Lethal to face “The Nature Boy” and Andrade El Idolo.
