Jersey Shore star Zack Clayton is set to make his All Elite Wrestling TV debut tonight, and ahead of that, he teased what he believes will be one of the biggest debuts ever.
Speaking to TMZ in a recent interview, Clayton — who is set to take on HOOK during tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage for the FTW Championship — spoke about the upcoming bout, and said that even though it’s HOOK’s first title defense, he believes it’s going to be the hardest one he’ll ever face before going on to promise a big debut.
“The kid’s really good, but there are some things that HOOK is not that I am,” Clayton said. “This is going to be his first FTW title defense, and I’m going to say it’s going to be his most difficult…Once this match happens this Friday, they’re never going to forget who I am, I know I’m going to make one of the biggest debuts ever in the sport this Friday on Rampage.”
Despite tonight marking the first official match on television, Clayton is no stranger to the world of All Elite Wrestling. Previously, the star has appeared on both of All Elite Wrestling’s online broadcasts AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation.
