Sam Gradwell joins the growing list of NXT UK stars who will be hitting the open market.
On August 19, WWE announced that NXT UK will go on hiatus ahead of the launch of NXT Europe in 2023. Several members of the roster subsequently confirmed their releases, and Gradwell became the latest.
In a tweet on August 19, he confirmed that he will enter free agency on September 23.

Gradwell debuted during the NXT UK Championship tournament in 2017 and subsequently joined the NXT UK brand. In his last match, he defeated Teoman on the August 11 episode of NXT UK.
