WWE NXT 2.0 viewership increased substantially on August 16.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 723,000 viewers watched the show on Tuesday, which is up from last week, when 597,000 viewers tuned in. The viewership number for the August 16 episode was NXT’s highest since NXT Halloween Havoc on October 26, 2021
In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT drew a 0.18 rating, which is up from last week (0.13 rating). NXT ranked fifth in the demographic on cable on Tuesday; news coverage took the top four spots. Thurston noted that this was NXT’s second-highest ranking of all time, only behind the September 18, 2019 episode.
Highest viewership since October 26, 2021 "Halloween Havoc" episode. Highest P18-49 since June 21.

This week’s episode was the “Heatwave” special, which featured several title matches. In the main event, Bron Breakker defended the NXT Championship against JD McDonagh.
