Riddle and Seth Rollins have been locked in a bitter feud for a number of weeks, and now things are ready to bubble over at WWE Clash at the Castle.
Previously, “The Original Bro” was medically disqualified for his match with Rollins at WWE SummerSlam after the latter dropped him with a brutal stomp. The two foes brawled at “The Biggest Party of the Summer”, but Riddle has been sidelined ever since.
During an interview on the August 16 edition of WWE RAW, Riddle was interrupted by Rollins, who said he had joined the interview from inside the ring in order to watch as Riddle retired. Instead of doing that, though, Riddle said he’s been medically cleared to wrestle, and that the next time he sees Rollins, it’ll be on. Rollins said that he wishes that Riddle was really there, because he’d deliver multiple stomps to Riddle and his “stupid stompable head.”
Riddle said he was glad to hear that, because he’s actually in Washington, D.C., before surprising Rollins and charging the ring. The two brawls for a bit before Rollins eventually had Riddle by the announce table and ready for a big stomp.
Instead, Riddle ducked the move and kneed Rollins, sending him over the barricade and running off. The fan-favorite initially chased him, but he stopped and posed in the crowd. “The Original Bro” was subsequently interviewed backstage, and he challenged Rollins to a match at Clash at the Castle.

In what is sure to be a volatile showdown, Riddle will go one-on-one with Seth “Freakin” Rollins at WWE Clash at the Castle in a quest for payback.
The Original Bro has found himself in the crosshairs of The Visionary since the absence of Randy Orton has left Riddle to battle it out on his own. Although they were supposed to throw down at SummerSlam, Riddle found himself not medically cleared to compete, and the contest never took place.
Riddle has since been sidelined with a stinger injury after Rollins Stomped him into the steel ring steps. Before he could give his return address on the Aug. 15 edition of Raw, however, The Visionary made an unexpected appearance.
After Rollins continued to mock his adversary, The Original Bro ultimately stormed the ring and ignited a huge brawl with his adversary. In the wake of the free-for-all, Riddle challenged Rollins to a showdown at WWE Clash at the Castle.
