The PROGRESS World Championship has changed hands.
At PROGRESS Chapter 137: The Deadly Viper Tour – Codename: Copperhead on August 13, Big Damo, formerly known as Killian Dain, defeated Chris Ridgeway to win the title.
Ridgeway previously won the gold by emerging victorious in the Super Strong Style 16 tournament at Chapter 135: Super Strong Style 16 Night 3.
Damo has been wrestling around the world since his WWE release in June 2021; he recently competed at NJPW Music City Mayhem, and he has also been competing for Black Label Pro and DEFY, among other promotions.
