Bandido: If IMPACT Is Open To It, I Would Love To Face Flamita In A Mask vs. Mask Match

Bandido wants to wage war with Flamita in a way that would honor lucha libre.

The former ROH World Champion is set to make his IMPACT debut at the Emergence show on August 12; he will face Rey Horus in a singles match. The two men were once members of MexiSquad, a trio that held the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship. The third member of the group, Flamita, continues to compete throughout Mexico, and he has also wrestled for MLW and GCW in recent months.

Speaking with Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Bandido made it clear that he’d like to face Flamita in a Mask vs. Mask match.

“He’s a very strong rival and very brave, and one which I’m ready to fight to the end with,” said Bandido. “If IMPACT would be open to it, I would love to have a Mask vs. Mask match with him.”

Bandido will also compete in a star-studded elimination match at  IMPACT Second Coty Slamm; he will face Eddie Edwards, Steve Maclin, Moose, Rich Swann, and Sami Callihan.
