Following the huge shakeups behind the scenes at WWE, it seems like those running the show now have continued to stay as aggressive as possible in bringing back former talent.
According to a recent report from Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful Select, WWE has been looking at bringing former talent back into the ring, with one of the names included in discussions as Dexter Lumis. According to the report, higher-ups were set to reach out to Lumis last week, although it wasn’t confirmed whether or not those talks happened or what the current status with Lumis was.
Also mentioned in the report was the current status of Johnny Gargano. After his contract expired in December of last year, Gargano has been taking some time off from the world of wrestling following the birth of his first son. However, Fightful Select’s report mentions that Shawn Michaels was tasked with reaching out to Gargano following the turnover of WWE’s management, although there has been no full update on anything besides the fact that Michaels may or may not have reached out to the superstar.
