Glenn ‘Kane’ Jacobs, who lost the WWE Championship in less than 24 hours during his first run in 1998, has retained his title as mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
As per reports from the Knoxville News Sentinel, Jacobs earned his second mayoral term when he defeated his Democratic opponent, Debbie Hensley, where they 4,400-vote lead while there was 63% of the vote counted. This was enough to project the former WWE Champion as the winner.

Jacobs took to Twitter to celebrate his victory.

Ahead of his re-election, Jacobs appeared at WWE SummerSlam 2022 which was held at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. During his appearance, Jacobs announced that over 40,000 members of the WWE Universe were in attendance for the SummerSlam event.
