Saraya, formerly known as Paige, is proud of the way her former Absolution stablemates have grown.
In 2017, the trio, which consisted of Paige, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville. Rose and Deville later became a team on their own, and in recent years, both women have reached new heights. Rose is the reigning NXT Women’s Champion, while Deville has returned to the ring after a lengthy run as an on-screen official.
Speaking with the media during a scrum at Starrcast V, Saraya was asked about the duo’s growth, and she spoke highly of them.
“They’re killing it, right,” said Saraya. “They actually text me because I would always do all the promos with us, and they were just like, ‘Why do you feel so comfortable doing promos? I was like one day it just clicks, and you still feel nervous, but you’re so comfortable in your character that you know that you can switch and change on a dime like that, and all you have to do is put things into bullet points and then tell your own story.
“So Sonya texts me one day and she was like you’re so right, it switched. I feel like it has. Her on the mic and Mandy on the mic is like, they’ve just skyrocketed. They’re just doing so good, and I’m so proud of them.”
