The Usos reign over the WWE Tag Team division continued through SummerSlam, as the duo took down the Street Profits yet again tonight to defend their title.
In another classic match between the two teams, it was the Usos who walked in on top and walked out the same exact way. Late in the match, after another close call that saw the Street Profits nearly win, Montez Ford began arguing with special guest referee Jeff Jarrett, allowing the Usos the chance to superkick him and knock him out of the ring and into the barricade.
Once alone with Angelo Dawkins, the pair delivered their own superkick and ended things.
For a recap of how the match ended, check out below courtesy of our live, play-by-play coverage:
Jimmy Uso and Dawkins start the bout. Jey quickly tags in as the champions take control. The brothers work together to isolate Dawkins and keep him grounded. Jimmy hits a running hip strike, but Dawkins rallies and tags Ford who makes the hot tag. Ford gains the upper hand with standing blockbuster. The Usos briefly take the advantage, but Ford dumps them to the outside, and Dawkins dives onto them. Jimmy kicks Dawkins, and the Street Profits double-team Jimmy for a two count. Jimmy gets a two count with a diving splash on Dawkins. They hit the double splash, but Ford breaks up the pin. Dawkins dodges a kick, and Jarrett catches it. He sends Jimmy into Dawkins, who drops him with a spinebuster. Ford hits the frog splash for a near fall. Ford gets upset with Jarrett, and the Usos superkick him.
The champions slam Ford into the barricade and superkick Dawkins. Back in the ring, they superkick him and hit the One-D for the win.
