Prior to their upcoming bout at SummerSlam, Pat McAfee and Happy Corbin got into it backstage at WWE SmackDown.
In a brief segment during tonight’s episode, Corbin came down to ringside to pester McAfee at the announce table, but quickly began attacking McAfee instead. McAfee left his post at the table and quickly chased down Corbin, where the two began brawling backstage before WWE officials and security members broke them up.
After the pair had finished fighting, McAfee took to the ring, grabbing a microphone and addressing Corbin directly. In a small promo, McAfee said that at SummerSlam, Corbin won’t be able to cheapshot him or blindside him, and that they’ll go one-on-one, man-to-man, “man vs. big dumb bald baby,” and that McAfee would put Corbin down for good when he kicks him in Corbin’s “ugly head.”
