WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash would like Hollywood A-lister Chris Hemsworth to play him in a movie about his life.
On the latest episode of Kliq This, Kevin Nash was asked to cast himself in a future movie, and he picked none other than the star of Marvel Studios Thor: Love and Thunder, Chris Hemsworth.
“I’m going to get heat for this, but I’m going with [Chris] Hemsworth,” Kevin Nash said. “Hey, f*ck man…my movie! It was between that and Brad Garrett. So f*ck it. It’s not bad; who else could it have been? If Jim Cornette was f*cking casting it, I’d say, ‘Jim, he’s got the hair flip, right?’ and he’d be like, ‘Kev, you’re right.’ Hemsworth is built a lot like I am. He’s an upper body, bigger guy, smaller leg guy. He’s a big bone dude, but he’s leaner.”
While Nash would prefer Hemsworth to play him, that likely won’t be in the cards as the Hollywood megastar has already been cast to play Hulk Hogan in an upcoming biopic that Todd Phillips will direct. Phillips recently directed the DC Comics film, Joker.
Despite being locked down to play the role, Hemsworth admits the movie is still a while off during a recent interview with Comicbook.com, stating:
“That film’s a while away,” Chris Hemsworth revealed. “That’s sort of in the development stage you know, and if that comes to fruition, great. Todd Phillips is brilliant. Haven’t ripped any shirts off yet, but you’ll be the first to hear about it when I do.”
