The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) has announced that Mercedes Varnado, also known as Sasha Banks, will be at the convention, as she’ll be doing a photographs and autographs. This will be Banks’ first advertised public appearance since she walked out of the May 16 episode of WWE RAW.

The tweet clearly uses Varnado’s name and notes that she is known for her work as Sasha Banks and her role in The Mandalorian. The announcement does not reference WWE whatsoever.
Banks and Naomi, who were the reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, both walked out of the May 16 episode of WWE RAW, reportedly due to a creative disagreement. The duo was then stripped of the titles and suspended indefinitely.
Their merchandise has been removed from WWE Shop, and they have reportedly been removed from the company’s internal roster. Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. reported that Banks was released, but this news has not been officially confirmed, as there have been conflicting reports about her status.
