Shark Week is bringing in a major name to be the Master of Ceremonies.
In a video Discovery posted on its YouTube channel, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson can be seen overseeing dozens of sharks in the water. At the end of the clip, Discovery officially announced that “The Great One” is the Master of Ceremonies for Shark Week 2022. The festivities will kick off on July 24.
In a tweet, Johnson commented on the news by saying that he filmed content for Shark Week in his home state of Hawaii, and he’s excited for fans to check it out.
I filmed our #SharkWeek exclusively in my home state of HAWAII. Proud to bring this one back and pumped for you guys to watch.
You can feel the mana.
Mark your calendars for JULY 24th! @discovery @discoveryplus @SevenBucksProd
