Tasha Steelz has been making a name for herself in IMPACT Wrestling‘s Knockouts Division for some time, and according to her, she believes the division has never been in a better place.
Steelz, a former Knockouts World Champion, often shares the IMPACT ring with stars like Jordynne Grace, Mia Yim, Deonna Purrazzo, and Taya Valkyrie, among other stars. During an appearance on GAW TV, she shared her belief that the division know has some distinct “flavor”.
“I mean, I think it’s more spiced now,” Steelz said. “Because the IMPACT Knockouts locker room finally has flavor in it, I think that’s what you guys have been missing for a long time. No disrespect, really, but I think you guys were missing that extra flavor.”
“The Boricua Badass” went on to say that she believes that IMPACT’s Knockouts Division has some of the best female professional wrestlers in the entire business.
“So, it took a while, but I’m here, and no…it’s just great, because we have women of all diversities, all different backgrounds, and we can just mix it up with the best of them in there, and we prove it every single time,” said Steelz. “And we have the strongest women in there, we have the scariest women in there, we have the biggest women in there, we have the most technical women in there, we have the ‘Hot Mess’ in there, myself, you know, and we’re just getting started, and we’re adding more girls.”
Steelz recently lost the title in the first-ever Queen of the Mountain match at the Slammiversary pay-per-view, but she remains a featured member of the roster.
