Angelo Dawkins says he keeps trying to raise the bar every time the Street Profits face The Usos.
Dawkins and Montez Ford have put on several remarkable bouts with Jimmy and Jey Uso. Most recently, The Usos defeated the Street Profits in what many considered to be the match of the night at WWE Money in the Bank.
During an appearance on WWE After The Bell with Corey Graves, when asked about how their matches keep getting better and better, Dawkins noted that he aims to improve with each outing. He also compared their series of bouts to The Usos’ chemistry with the New Day.
“I always try to go back and watch to see what I can get better at just to get more comfortable in the ring and stuff like that and be in front of everybody, all the fans and stuff and just be more myself whenever I’m out there,” said Dawkins. ” But yeah man, it’s crazy just like every time us and the Usos have gone up against each other, it’s been really good, really good, really good, and it’s like, ‘Man, how can we top this? How we gonna top that?’
“And you’ve seen them with the New Day as well, them and the New Day has been unreal. The Elimination Chamber match, if I’m not mistaken, they had that crazy classic and I’m like, bro….”
Dawkins also expressed his hope that, some day, the three teams will face off in the same match and stated that it would be “insane.”
“I mean there’s only one step further to go, like eventually at some point, maybe all three of us end up in the ring at the same time. That would be insane, just like Street Profits, Usos, New Day.”
The Usos will defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against The Street Profits at WWE SummerSlam.
