John Cena has been nominated for an award for his role as Peacemaker.
The former WWE Champion has been nominated by the Hollywood Critics Association for Best Actor in a Streaming Series, Comedy for his titular role on Peacemaker on HBO Max.

John Cena’s Best Actor nomination is one of two total for Peacemaker; director/writer James Gunn was also nominated in the Best Writing in a Streaming Series, Comedy category for the “It’s Cow or Never” episode of the HBO Max series.
The Apple TV+ series Severance tied with Ted Lasso for most nominations with 12 each. Netflix’s Stranger Things, Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building and the Hulu limited series, Dopesick also had 9 nominations each.
Night one of the HCA TV Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 13, while night two of the second annual HCA TV Awards will take place on Sunday, August 14 at the Beverly Hilton.
