It was an eventful night for Best Friends on the June 29 episode of AEW Dynamite.
The “Blood & Guts” edition AEW’s flagship show kicked off with Orange Cassidy defeating Ethan Page while debuting a new (but familiar) theme song with “Jane” by Jefferson Starship. Cassidy previously used that song on the independent scene, but had been making his entrance to “Where Is My Mind?” by The Pixies for quite some time.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful first reported over the weekend that Orange Cassidy was set to use “Jane” again, possibly as soon as the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on Sunday, but he still came to the ring with “Where Is My Mind?” on Sunday.

Also of note, Chuck Taylor returned to programming and initially accompanied Cassidy to the ring. Dan Lambert ordered the referee to face Beretta and Taylor removed from ringside, so they left for the duration of the match. Once Cassidy picked up the win, they came back and celebrated with him.
Taylor has been out of action since May and hasn’t worked a match for AEW since March.
