Carmelo Hayes will defend his NXT North American Championship on the “NXT Great American Bash” edition of WWE NXT 2.0 on July 5.
During the June 28 episode of NXT 2.0, Grayson Waller had Hayes sign a bunch of things that he said was for a friend. Later in the show, Hayes was shocked to find out that Waller had actually handed him a pre-signed contract for a title match at Great American Bash.

The broadcast team subsequently confirmed the match for the show.
