The Celtic Warrior Sheamus is heading to Nashville for the NASCAR Cup Series on June 26.
Hot off the heels of Lacey Evans and The Bella Twins being involved with the partnership between WWE and NASCAR, WWE Superstar Sheamus will be the honorary starter for the NASCAR Cup Series Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.
Nashville Superspeedway’s President and General Manager Erik Moses spoke with Mike Organ of The Tennessean regarding Sheamus being the starter this weekend. Moses had high praise for the former WWE Champion and looks forward to welcoming him to Nashville for the NASCAR Cup Series.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming Sheamus and his legion of fans to Nashville Superspeedway for our race weekend,” Erik Moses said. “Sheamus’ athletic feats have earned him a well-earned worldwide following. We can’t wait for him to experience #NASHCAR in all its glory and feel the thrill of waving the green flag from the flag stand later this month!”
