All Elite Wrestling has announced the card for the June 17 episode of AEW Rampage.
Jade Cargill will defend the AEW TBS Championship against Willow Nightingale on Friday. On the June 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, Stokely Hathaway announced that Cargill issued an open challenge, and Nightingale, who has recently competed for AEW, IMPACT, and ROH over the past few months, stepped up because she wants to prove herself.
Plus, hoping to avenge Sting, Darby Allin will face Bobby Fish. The Undisputed Elite put “The Icon” on the shelf with a brutal attack, and ahead of their clash on Friday, Allin vowed to break Fish’s leg. Previously, Kyle O’Reilly defeated Allin at AEW Double or Nothing, so the former TNT Champion will hope to beat the other half of reDRagon on Rampage.
Elsewhere on the show, Dante Martin will battle Jon Moxley. Aiming to prove that he’s a bright star, Martin will step into the ring with a man who called himself the best wrestler in the world on Dynamite. Moxley will face Hiroshi Tanahashi in a match for the Interim AEW World Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, so he’ll attempt to gain more momentum before the pay-per-view.
Finally, Max Caser and Gunn Club will face former WWE NXT star Leon Ruff and Bear Country. Outside of the ring Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee are set to speak after Swerve eliminated Lee from the Casino Battle Royale on the June 8 episode of AEW Dynamite.
