WWE Superstar Sasha Banks recently had PRK surgery this week at Newsom Eye in Tampa.
PRK, otherwise known as Photorefractive Keratectomy, takes a longer recovery time than LASIK but is reportedly a much safer procedure. The difference is while LASIK creates a thin flap in the cornea, PRK actually removes the outer layer of the cornea, which grows back over time.
Newsome Eye posted on their Instagram that Sasha Banks was at their facility to have the PRK surgery:

As the Instagram post mentioned, Banks isn’t the first WWE Superstar who has had the PRK surgery, as Titus O’Neil recently had the procedure back in April.
Banks hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since she and Naomi walked out of the May 16 episode of WWE RAW; they were subsequently indefinitely.
