Jesse Godderz Teams With Al Snow And Head For New Comic Book

The “Snowverse” of Al Snow continues to expand with former IMPACT Wrestling star Jessie Godderz.

Following the success of The Ballad of Al Snow and Head and The Adventures of Al Snow and Head featuring Chavo Guerrero Jr comes a brand new comic from Broken Iron Comics and Eric Watkins that will continue the crazy adventures of the former WWE Superstar. Broken Iron Comics took to social media Friday morning to make the announcement, confirming Jessie Godderz will join Snow for his next literary adventure.

“Welcome @MrPEC_Tacular to the #Snowverse #TheAdventuresofAlSnowandHead will feature the 2x @IMPACTWRESTLING tag champion @ovwrestling megastar and the star of @cbstv hit show #bigbrother Jessie will join @TheRealAlSnow for a crazy adventure deep inside Al’s psyche! Coming soon!”

Jessie Godderz, who currently competes for Snow’s Ohio Valley Wrestling and won multiple titles for the promotion, responded to Broken Iron Comics’ announcement to convey his excitement for joining to project, tweeting out:

HUGE BREAKING NEWS: BEYOND THRILLED AND HONORED to announce the debut of the Mr. PEC-Tacular COMIC BOOK! I’ll be joining @TheRealAlSnow in his AWESOME Comic Book Strip #Snowverse: @KySportsRadio @WilliamShatner @BrokenIconComic @ovwrestling @MuscleTech”

While there are currently no details on the new comic that will feature Jessie Godderz, the following is a description of the last book that featured Chavo Guerrero:

THE ADVENTURES OF AL SNOW AND HEAD FEATURING CHAVO GUERRERO JR is a new series that dives back into Al’s mind, but this time he’s not going alone. Embarking on a western adventure unlike any other, Al and Chavo are famous cowboys tasked by the citizens of Judgment City to save their town. What follows is the beautiful chaos that can only happen in an Al Snow comic. Approached by citizens of Judgment City with tales of oppression and abuse from the local robber-baron, Richard Murdoch. Chavo mounts his trusty steed, Pepe, and heads off to find his partners, Al and Head. Saddle up for a different kind of journey, into a different kind of mind.

WrestleZone spoke with Al Snow and Chavo Guerrero in March regarding the ongoing comic book series and why it made sense to team up for the project.

“[Pro wrestlers] are, in a sense, comic book heroes and superheroes. So, when Al approached me to team up with him and Eric on this, it was a no-brainer. Not only can I work with my buddy Al, at the same time have both of our characters and our alter-egos in a sense with Pepe and Head kind of be immortalized in a western to where we’re both playing it pretty straight but he’s got this Head character and I got this Pepe thing with me,” Guerrero said. “We just kind of think it’s normal and we’re playing it pretty straight. It’s a serious comic with some fun stuff sprinkled in.”

Snow then went on to explain how there are several nods to their respective careers, and praised how the book is very much a Western, but it just happens to feature wrestling personalities. You can check out the full interview with Al Snow and Chavo by clicking here.
