Major League Wrestling’s Battle Riot IV continued to take shape tonight on the MLW Fusion with the surprising return of Ace Romero.
This week’s special episode of MLW Fusion: Rise of the Renegades saw seven new participants for the Battle Riot IV match revealed. The following names will be entering the match, set to take place on June 23 in New York City:
- Real1 (nZo)
- Davey Richards
- Little Guido
- Ace Romero
- Savio Vega
- Los Maximos (Joel and Jose)
Ace Romero was last seen in IMPACT Wrestling, teaming with Larry D as XXXL. Romero requested his release in August and had it granted in October 2021. This will be Romero’s first appearance for Major League Wrestling since May of 2019.

Major League Wrestling’s yearly Battle Riot match is a 40-man battle royale where wrestlers can be eliminated via pinfall, submission, or going over the top rope. The winner of the Battle Riot match will receive a future title shot for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship at any time or place of the winner’s choosing.
