The Dollhouse is an era of Taryn Terrell‘s career she wishes she had more appreciation for at the time.
Taryn Terrell recently sat down with Scott Fishman of Pro Wrestling Illustrated to discuss a wide variety of topics. When asked if there was ever a possibility of a reunion for The Dollhouse from IMPACT Wrestling down the line with Marti Belle and Mia Yim, Terrell admitted as much as she would like to she didn’t think it was going to happen.
“I wish. I don’t think that is ever going to happen as much as I would love for it to,” Taryn Terrell said. “But I think that both of them have grown into such stars and such. They don’t need to share the spotlight with anybody. They are so good. So talented, so wonderful. As much as I would love to say let’s do this. I think they have grown so much beyond that. And I think that people have really started to see them as their own. And Obviously, Marti and Allysin Kay like their thing is amazing. So as much as I would love it, and I’m sad, I keep trying to pitch that I can just join The Hex.
“But I think it was such a fun time. And I’m pretty sad because the truth of the matter is I’m spilling all the tea for you today. I normally don’t, but I appreciate what you do and all you do for all these years. So the truth of the matter is that I think when I was in The Dollhouse, I didn’t have an appreciation for what it was at the time. And I was really stressed because I had the title. And I had this daughter who was super young at the time. I was on my own, and it was a whole lot of stress at one time. So I would get to TV, and I have a nanny with me. But yeah, my daughter still needs me. I would literally be breastfeeding in the makeup chair. Trying to just get everything done and then go do this interview and go do that go do this photo shoot, and it was like, oh my gosh like I felt like my brain was gonna explode. So I’m so sad that I didn’t really take the moment to like take it in and say this is really cool what we’re doing, and I’m so sad about that.
“But it was such a cool moment and such a like I look back at pictures, and I’m like, man, we were vibe like we totally rocked it. I will say Marti and I have we’ve had tag team matches where I haven’t necessarily wrestled, but I’ve valeted for Genocide and Paola Blaze. And there’s chemistry, so there was chemistry with us being against each other and chemistry with us being with each other. So I think at the end of the day, there still could be some fun things that could come about, but I don’t think The Dollhouse will ever have a revival.”
