The Miz and Maryse showcase that they are one of the funniest couples in the history of WWE on their hit reality show Miz and Mrs. on the USA Network.
WWE Superstars The Miz and Maryse recently sat down with Jim Alexander of Reel Talker to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about The Miz’s “game” skills, Maryse recalled the first time they met at the WWE Diva Search.
“You put me on the spot,” Maryse said. “Well, when I was talking to you on the Diva Search I just remember your big blue eyes, so that got my attention when I was ripping you apart after you told me to stop speaking during the audition because I wasn’t giving the answer people wanted to hear.”
Maryse also teased her husband over the fact when they first met that he couldn’t pronounce her name properly.
“The first Monday Night Raw that he was supposed to introduce me on the show,” Maryse recalled. “I remember standing in guerrilla. He was sitting in front of me and trying to say my name and my name is Maryse (Mah-ree-s). He said ‘Morris!'”
Maryse also took time during the interview to put her husband over, calling The Miz one of the smartest minds in the business.
“You’re probably one of the smartest, most intelligent minds in the business, Maryse said. “Not only being a good talker, that’s a talent he’s worked over time and he’s really good at it. Just understanding how to make good television with what you’re given and how to make the best out of it.”
