John Cena continues to go above and beyond for his fans in the WWE Universe, no matter where they might be.
The Wall Street Journal recently revealed a story that saw WWE Superstar John Cena travel to the Netherlands to meet 19-year-old fan Misha Rohozhyn, who recently escaped from Ukraine with his mother to get away from the current war in their country. Misha has down syndrome, and his mother used the motivation of being able to meet John Cena as the motivation to get him out of Ukraine.
When they arrived in the Netherlands last month, Misha was angry because Cena wasn’t there and spent a great deal of time in his room, upset over the situation. This story has a very heartwarming ending, however, as the former 16-time WWE Champion was on his way to make the meet-up happen.
Cena spent some time with Misha and gave him a WWE Championship replica title. When Cena arrived, Misha’s mother broke down in tears. It was a very important moment for Misha, and Cena spoke afterward about some words of wisdom he left him with.
“I tried to let [Misha] know today that in every journey we’ve got good days and bad days,” John Cena said. “I hope he gets more good ones.”
WWE has since shared the following video about Cena’s journey to meet Misha:
