The Judgment Day gained a new member tonight, but promptly lost its founder.
On the June 6 episode of WWE RAW, a fourth member of The Judgment Day was set to be introduced, and it was revealed to be none other than Finn Bálor. After welcoming the new recruit into the ring, Edge said that he saw the look in Bálor’s eyes last night at WWE’s Hell in a Cell, where Balor unsuccessfully teamed up with AJ Styles and Liv Morgan to face the trio. On RAW, Balor stated that he realized he can no longer resist the urges he had to join them, as he said that it was his calling.
Grabbing the microphone, Damian Priest then welcomed in the newest member and said that now, The Judgment Day was ready to move past all of their limitations…starting with Edge. In a shocking twist, Priest then knocked Edge to the ground, with Bálor and Rhea Ripley joining in the ambush. After throwing him out of the ring, Priest then put Edge through the broadcast table.
Bálor then threw him back into the ring and put him in a cross face using a piece of broken chair while Ripley fended off officials looking to stop it. Finally, to put an exclamation point on the assault, Priest blasted Edge with a Con-Chair-To.
The shocking betrayal kicks off a new era for The Judgment Day. What the group will do now is anyone’s guess, but it looks as if they have their eyes set on taking over however they can.
