Madcap Moss has not been seen on an episode of WWE broadcasts since his brutal attack at the hands of Happy Corbin. That’s set to change on the June 3 episode of WWE SmackDown.
As announced during the May 27 edition of the show, Moss will make his return to the show following an attack two weeks ago that left him shaken and Corbin irate. The attack came after Moss mocked Corbin following their match at WrestleMania Backlash. Corbin was not happy about the loss, and he promptly assaulted his former friend. Corbin eventually used Moss’ own Andre the Giant trophy to attack him.
The beatdown left Moss down and out, with the superstar eventually needing to be stretched out of the ring. At the time, WWE described the attack as having left a “cervical contusion” on Moss, although it seems like the superstar has been cleared to return.
Moss stated that he’d be returning in a post on Instagram, and he made it clear that he’s coming for revenge.
In a digital exclusive, Happy Corbin responded to the news of Moss’ return. He said he thought Moss would stay away after what happened the last time they were in the ring together. Corbin declared that Moss is his employee, and that’s all he’ll ever be. He also said that Moss’ return will go one of two ways; either he’ll end up on a stretcher again, or he’ll beg Corbin for his job back.
