WWE has announced that they are moving the upcoming Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
WWE is going to bring some fireworks to this year’s Fourth of July weekend by bringing its Money in the Bank event to Las Vegas, Nevada. Previously, the event was slated to take place in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, the site of last year’s SummerSlam event. Now, WWE has announced that the event is being moved to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
There was no official reason given for the venue change, but WWE has refunded all prior tickets and stated that fans who previously purchased tickets will have the first crack at getting new tickets this time around. Tickets will go on sale on June 1, next Wednesday.
Money in the Bank typically features two Ladder Matches where a group of men and a group of women will have the opportunity to earn a championship match at any time they choose. This year, Cody Rhodes was featured in the commercial for the event and there was a heavy emphasis on the potential to headline WrestleMania for whoever wins one of these ladder matches.
