According to a recent report from Fightful Select, Ohio Valley Wrestling is set to partner up with a major streaming service based on a behind-the-scenes look at the company.
The report notes that the promotion is nearly ready to announce the program, and although it’s unclear what exact streaming service has landed the rights to a documentary, Fightful did report that it was between one of three services; Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. The report also mentions that Netflix did note they had wrestling content planned, neither Hulu nor Amazon Prime said they had anything in the pipeline, suggesting it could be headed to Netflix.
While not too much is known about the program, Fightful did note that they were told the program will follow certain Ohio Valley Wrestling talent throughout the summer, some who are familiar to fans, and some who are more unknown superstars. The series will then take audiences through a life in the world of professional wrestling, providing full access to both the wrestlers and their personal lives behind-the-scenes.
