No matter what The Miz says on TV, Mike Mizanin will never be content and will always want more.
The Miz is the only two-time Grand Slam champion in WWE History. He is a former Money in the Bank briefcase holder, also on two occasions, the second-most winningest intercontinental champion of all time, and a former WrestleMania main-eventer. In fact, The Miz and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are the only two WWE Superstars that can say that they defeated John Cena in the headlining match at WrestleMania.
With all of these accomplishments, The Miz, on television, will always say that he is one of the top players in WWE and he proved everyone wrong and “made it” a long time ago. Mike Mizanin, however, will always want more.
“I still don’t think I’ve made it,”Miz tells Adam Glyn of Adam’s Apple. “No. Well, if you want The Miz’s answer it would be, ‘Oh, I made it the first day I stepped foot on The Real World.’ But, Mike would tell you no, I feel like I still have a lot more to prove.”
Furthermore, Mike would say that he will never be content with any level of success because anytime he accomplishes a goal, it’s on to the next.
“I’ll never be content with whatever I’m doing,” Mike continued. “Because whenever I find a goal and I succeed, the goal is to find a new goal that is so far away and above that can never happen. For instance, being on The Real World oh, I’ll give you that example. I was in college, no way I was going to get on The Real World, not a chance in hell. I got on The Real World. Holy cow, I did it. Well, alright. Well, now I want to be a WWE Superstar. No way it’s going to happen. I’m not some 6’7, 300 lb of muscle, no way it’s going to happen. I did it. I got into WWE. ‘I want to be WWE Champion. I want to Main Event WrestleMania.’ Now it’s like, ‘Oh man, what’s the next goal?’ I’m always finding new goals for myself and if they don’t happen, then I find new goals and try to work harder to get them.”
The Miz, all these years after The Real World, is still utilizing reality television to his benefit. His new show, Miz & Mrs. was renewed for a third season by USA Network. Learn more here.
