WWE RAW Viewership Increases On 5/9, Rating Sees Rise As Well

WWE RAW viewership increased for the first time in a while on May 9.

According to Showbuzz Daily, an average of 1.652 million viewers watched the show on Monday, which is up from the 1.581 million viewers who tuned in last week. In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.44, which is up in a big way from last week per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics. For comparison, last week’s show scored a 0.38 rating.

The hourly breakdown is as follows:

  • First hour: 1.635 million viewers, 0.42 in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Second hour: 1.730 million viewers, 0.47 in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Third hour: 1.593 million viewers, 0.43 in the 18 to 49 demographic

With the NBA Playoffs dominating cable on Monday, RAW once again ranked fourth, fifth, and sixth overall in the key demographic among cable originals on Monday. With hour number two taking the top spot for the evening.

This week’s episode opened with RAW World Tag Team Champions RK-Bro addressing what went down at WrestleMania Backlash, this led to them successfully defending their titles against The Street Profits. The main event was a championship contenders match between Bianca Belair and Asuka which ended via interference from former champion Becky Lynch.
