JONAH is moving on from IMPACT Wrestling, at least for now.
The man formerly known as Bronson Reed in WWE NXT had been featured in IMPACT throughout 2022 up to this point. But after PCO beat him in a Monster’s Ball Match on the May 5 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, JONAH noted that he’d see IMPACT “down the road.”
There's a wild chapter in the book of JONAH that is all about PCO … HE IS NOT HUMAN.

JONAH previously confirmed the length of his contract in an interview with WrestleZone:
“My agreement with IMPACT is through Rebellion, so I know that I’ll be out there on this tour through Rebellion. I think it’s exciting to be on the road and be in different cities where those people can see IMPACT Wrestling rather than being set in one place.
“I very much had that with what NXT became after the pandemic, it was set in one place in Florida, and not that that’s not great [having a steady venue], wrestling there is good,” he noted, “but it’s always good when you can go to different towns and get a feel from different crowds.”
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that it was becoming “increasingly hard” to fit JONAH into the company’s storylines, given his other commitments, especially New Japan Pro-Wrestling. For this reason, JONAH and IMPACT amicably parted ways, but the door is “wide open” for his return. Johnson also wrote that IMPACT was “really thrilled” with JONAH’s time in the company.
JONAH continues to compete for NJPW; he’ll be in action at NJPW STRONG United Empire: Rising on May 15.
