The National Wrestling Alliance delivered an eventful episode of NWA Powerrr on May 3.
Among other noteworthy bouts, Nick Aldis faced Mike Bennett, and Kenzie Paige took on Mickie James.
The results are as follows:
- Aron Stevens announced that he thought the NWA was the place to revitalize himself, but now he’s done with wrestling. The news upsets May Valentine, as she starts crying. She asked him to go to Brazil with her, and he refused.
- Nick Aldis defeated Mike Bennett
- Backstage, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona states that he already beat Aldis, so he won’t be getting another shot at the gold.
- The Fixers (Wrecking Ball Legursky & Jay Bradley) defeated The Rude Dudes (Jamie Stanley & El Rudo)
- Pope reflects on his loss to Cardona and says he’ll keep going, despite this setback.
- On his third attempt during the Slam Challenge, Mims slammed Tyrus and earned the right to challenge for Tyrus’ Television Championship.
- In a promo, Matt Taven makes it clear that he has his sights set on Cardona and the title, but he’ll earn a shot by facing Judias first. Likewise, Jennacide expresses her interest in earning a title shot and says she’ll face KiLynn King and Chelsea Green.
- Billy Corgan books Harry Smith, Doug Williams, and Nick Aldis vs. The Cardonas for next week.
- Mickie James defeated Kenzie Paige
