Cameron Grimes Retains NXT North American Title At Spring Breakin’

Cameron Grimes continues to head to the moon in NXT following the 5/3 Spring Breakin’ event. Grimes retained his North American Championship under triple threat rules against Solo Sikoa and former champ in Carmelo Hayes. There were plenty of close calls which included Sikoa getting a very near W on Grimes after hitting an Uso splash, but Hayes broke it up right as the ref’s hand almost hit the mat for three.

The finish came when Grimes made a double stomp on top of Carmelo and Sikoa both as Solo had Carmelo up. It was Grimes who covered Sikoa for the 1-2-3.
