Persia Pirotta has been released by WWE.
Steph De Lander, better known to fans as NXT’s Persia Pirotta, was released by the company on April 29. Pirotta signed with WWE in March 2021, and made her on-air debut as the friend of Indi Hartwell who flew from Australia for the InDex wedding. Pirotta began competing in October 2021, and was later paired with Johnny Gargano’s The Way stable.
Pirotta re-aligned with Hartwell and began teaming for a feud against Toxic Attraction in February, but the two later split and engaged in a brief feud with each other. Her last match was a loss to Indi Hartwell on the March 15, 2022 episode of NXT 2.0.
