Raquel Rodriguez has been making the media rounds this week and added further context to her recent name change since being called up to SmackDown. In addition to speaking with Rich Ucchino, the once known Gonzalez spoke with Graham Matthews of FanSided’s Daily DDT and talked about spitballing potential tag team names for herself and Rhea Ripley.
“If we ever do if by chance become a tag again, we gotta start thinking of funny tag names for this! We were like, ‘Maybe Rip Rod, Rod Rip, I don’t know!’ (laughs). The options are endless for us, but I’m totally cool with it. It’s a name, at the end of the day people are going to look at me and see my face and put my face to what they have already established to what they have made up in their minds about my character and who I am as a persona. The name is cool. I’m for it.”
