Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre continues to shine in his work in the community.
McIntyre, a Special Olympics Champion Ambassador, visited Nashville, the site of WWE SummerSlam 2022, and visited a local group of Special Olympics athletes, who are members of the Metro Parks DisABILITIES Program. “The Scottish Warrior” lifted weights with the athletes, gave them each a WWE Championship, and posed for a picture.
Today @WWE Superstar and @SpecialOlympics Champion Ambassador @DMcIntyreWWE surprised Special Olympics Tennessee athletes at Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville.

Speaking with the media, McIntyre made it clear that he enjoys the work he has been doing with the athletes. He stated that he holds the title of a champion ambassador as dear as the WWE Championship he previously carried.
“I’ve loved every second of everything we’ve done throughout the pandemic,” said McIntyre. “I put together a school of strength program where the athletes could work out at home and inevitably, we’ve been able to get back together in person. The athletes all surprised me by making me a champion ambassador. That title right there is up with my WWE championships, neck and neck.”
