Frank the Clown and multiple All Elite Wrestling stars will take part in Warrior Wrestling 21 on April 23.
The following is a press release from Warrior Wrestling regarding the return of Frank the Clown and the upcoming Warrior Wrestling 21 event:
Frank the Clown to Return to Warrior Wrestling With “Major Press Conference” on 4/23 in South Bend
Disclaimer: Warrior Wrestling is contractually obligated to promote Frank the Clown over our better judgment and taste. We’re sorry.
South Bend, IN (April 16, 2022) – Warrior Wrestling announced today that “Frank the Clown” will return to the promotion on 4/23 at Warrior Wrestling 21 in South Bend, Indiana. Frank has been absent from the past 3 Warrior shows as he has been, according to his account, “celebrating with his friends, the SuperBowl Champion LA Rams and hanging out with his super hot girlfriend Noelle Foley in beautiful Florida.”
Frank, who calls himself “Mr. Warrior Wrestling” will host a press conference at the event on 4/23, and he has invited all wrestling media to join him for this “historic” occasion.
Wrestling fans may remember Frank as the one who was crushed next to Robert “Ego” Anthony when Joey Janela swanton bombed them off the goalposts in the finale of the 2020 Stadium Series. Or perhaps you may recall that Lance Archer through him off the top of the bleachers in the 2021 Stadium Series. Regardless, we’re sure you’ve seen Frank fail miserably and suffer indescribable pain at past Warrior shows. If not, we’ve got it documented on our YouTube. Please watch and enjoy.
Despite the blemish of Frank’s appearance, Warrior Wrestling 21 promises to be a thrilling event.
In the main event, New Japan Pro Wrestling headliner Will Ospreay will defend the Warrior Wrestling Championship against independent wrestling sensation Blake Christian in a first-time ever one-on-one match. Ospreay defeated Christian and Trey Miguel in a triple threat in December to win the title.
AEW star Thunder Rosa will appear to meet the fans and relinquish her Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship. A triple-threat match featuring Athena (WWE’s “Ember Moon”), Skye Blue, and Shazza McKenzie will be held on Saturday to immediately determine a new champion.
AEW star tag team Top Flight, one of the most acrobatic and athletic duos in all of wrestling, will be in action against Brian Cage and KC Navarro.
AEW star Swerve Strickland will battle Australian phenom Adam Brooks.
Warrior Wrestling Lucha Libre Champion Sam Adonis defends the title against former Aramis in the building where Adonis won the title in January.
The partnership between Warrior Wrestling and New Japan Strong officially commences when the “Dojo Showcase” begins on Saturday, April 23d at Warrior Wrestling 21 in South Bend, Indiana when Karl Fredericks takes on Clark Connors. Wrestling fans will be in for a treat when Strong Style officially takes over South Bend!
Former WWE star and indie wrestling sensation Alex Zayne battles Chicago’s hottest rising independent wrestler Storm Grayson on 4/23 as well.
