During the dark match of Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, both LA Knight and MACE worked together in what looked to be a potential tryout of a new alliance.
With rumors swirling of LA Knight getting called up to the main WWE brands, it looked as if he was in a warm up match before his potential debut sometime in the future. In a promo prior to the match, Knight said that he would be launching “Knight Model Management,” and that his first client was none other than MACE.
In his managerial role, Knight caused a distraction late in the match to help MACE end things with a leaping leg lariat. Since making the move to WWE, Knight has been featured a handful of times on both the past NXT broadcasts and NXT 2.0. As for MACE, he’s been teaming up with T-BAR on the WWE RAW brand, but was sent to the SmackDown during the WWE Draft in October, leaving him as a singles star and a potential member to team up Knight with.
