The April 13 episode of AEW Dynamite will feature a buzzworthy title bout.
As announced on the April 8 episode of AEW Rampage, ROH World TV Champion Minoru Suzuki will defend his title against Samoa Joe on Wednesday. This past week, “The Samoan Submission Machine” scored a victory in his AEW debut against Max Caster as he became the first man to qualify for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Suzuki won the title at ROH Supercard of Honor, the first ROH event since Khan bought the company, by defeating Rhett Titus.

Plus, on AEW Rampage, Ricky Starks challenged Swerve Strickland to a tag team bout match for Wednesday’s show. The FTW Champion will team up with Team Taz stablemate Powerhouse Hobbs to face Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee. The two sides have been feuding in recent weeks, and Lee has been engaged in a rivalry with Hobbs since the road to AEW Revolution. There, the two powerhouses clashed in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match.
