Ask and you shall receive; Jinder Mahal wanted a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and he’ll get it on the April 15 episode of WWE SmackDown.
On the April 8 episode, Mahal confronted WWE official Adam Pearce and demanded a shot at Ricochet‘s gold. Pearce was quickly sidetracked by the arrival of Ronda Rousey, but he told Mahal he’d at least consider his request. WWE subsequently confirmed the title match for next week’s episode.
Plus, next week’s show will feature a rematch between Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn. “The Master Strategist” got himself counted out when he faced McIntyre on the April 8 episode, and the broadcast team confirmed another clash between the stars for next Friday.
