WWE SmackDown viewership increased ahead of WrestleMania 38.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.3599 million viewers watched the show on Friday, and it drew a 0.61 rating (799,000 viewers) in the 18 to 49 demographic. The numbers marked SmackDown’s highest viewership since the Madison Square Garden special episode on September 10, 2021.
Smackdown was #2 for the day in P18-49, behind the women's NCAA basketball championship on ESPN.
Rampage was #18 for the day among cable originals.

The viewership for Friday’s show marked a noteworthy increase from last week, when 2.180 million viewers watched the show on Friday night. The March 25 episode drew a 0.49 (638,000 viewers) in the same demographic.
SmackDown ranked #2 in the demo on Friday night; the Women’s Basketball NCAA Championship game took the top spot.
This week’s episode was the “WrestleMania SmackDown” edition; it featured an Intercontinental Championship Match and the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
