The Undertaker is a living legend, and his incredible career will officially be recognized when he gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 1.
Throughout his remarkable journey, “The Deadman” feuded with many of WWE’s top stars, and several of these storylines could be considered the most memorable programs in recent history.
Before he drove the pace car for the NASCAR EchoPark Automotive Texas Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas, The Undertaker spoke to the media. When asked to name the favorite rivalries of his career, the legend acknowledged several of his memorable rivals before he named his classic feud with Kane as his answer. The Undertaker stated that he and Kane were featured in “the greatest story ever told in wrestling.”
“Obviously, a lot of people will think of Mick Foley, which is high up on the list,” said The Undertaker. “Obviously Kane, probably the greatest story ever told in wrestling. And also I enjoyed my rivalries with Shawn Michaels, Triple H. You know over the course of a 30-plus year career, you have a lot of interesting storylines and people that you get to compete against, but I’m gonna say probably the battles with Kane, I think.
“It was just I think a storyline that people, whether you were a wrestling fan or you weren’t, you understood just because of sibling rivalries and I think people identified with that, and Kane was always such a physically dominant athlete that he always brought the best out of me, so I’m gonna go with the Brothers of Destruction.
The Undertaker and Kane feuded and teamed with each other throughout their careers, and they clashed in a number of high-profile bouts. Most notably, they faced off at WrestleMania 14 and WrestleMania 20.
