An unnamed talent will appear on All Elite Wrestling programming at some point soon, according to company president Tony Khan.
AEW continues to load up its already star-studded roster, but numerous names are still available on the open market. Jeff Hardy, Swerve Strickland, and Paige VanZant recently joined the company, but Khan remains active in his efforts to build the list of stars who are “All Elite.”
During an appearance on STRONG STYLE on John Rocha’s YouTube channel, Khan was specifically asked whether he has any plans to bring in any ex-WWE women wrestlers, such as Mia Yim or Toni Storm. In response, he refused to give anything away, but he made it clear that he’d have more information about a new signing for the women’s division on the March 25 episode of AEW Rampage.
“Yes,” said Khan. “I’m not gonna say who, but yes. Without naming any specific names or spoiling anything, I will tell you yes. and as for when and where, I suggest you watch Rampage tonight and get more info. What I can tell you is I’ll have more info on when and where you might see a new women’s wrestling star debut in AEW, I’ll give you more info on that tonight on Rampage.”
WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Rampage when it airs on Friday night.
