AEW Dynamite saw a slight boost in overall viewership but dropped in the key demo for cable originals.
According to Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston, the March 16 episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday drew 993,000 viewers. This number is up from the 945,000 viewers the show drew last week. In the key demo, the show drew a 0.38. This was down 0.40. Compared to last week, Dynamite was up 5% in total viewership. Among viewers 18 to 49, viewership was down 3% with 498,000 viewers from last week’s 516,000.
The March 16 episode of AEW Dynamite, St. Patrick’s Day Slam, was highlighted by thunder Rosa defeating Britt Baker for the Women’s Championship inside of a steel cage. Other matches included The Hardy Boyz making their AEW wrestling debut as a tag team, and Wardlow coming up short against Scorpio sky for the TNT Championship thanks to interference from Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
