Big E Provides Another Update After Breaking Neck; No Spinal Cord Damage Or Surgery Required

Some excellent news on the Big E front after the star broke his neck during the 3/11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Big E remained in great spirits following the scary moment and that continues on Saturday with more positive news. After being stretchered out from the arena, the former WWE Champion put many concerned fans at ease when he shared that he had feelings in his fingers and toes after being suplexed by Ridge Holland and on 3/12 E provided another update for everyone.

“I got some really good news, all things considered,” he said. “My C4 and C6 are indeed fractured, non displacement though which is a really good thing and I don’t have any damage to my spinal cord, no ligament damage and no surgery which I’m very thankful for and a pro tip, if you’re going to break your neck, do it in Birmingham. They’ve been great,” E said, referring to the UAB Hospital team. Big E expressed how thankful he is for all the support.

“This meant a ton to me that so many have you been so kind and reached out, stopped in and see me, texted me. I feel like I sound like a broken record, but I am very grateful and I’m going to be alright. It’s a blessing.”

We hear at WrestleZone would like to continue to send our prayers and best wishes to Big E as he continues on the road to recovery!
